History

Established in 1962 by “Dyno” Dave Bennett, Perfectune Engineering was the first engineering company in Australia with CNC machining capabilities. During the late 1970’s to the mid 1980’s, the company was a 1st Tier suppler to General Motors for OEM engine components. During this time Dave Bennett and his team launched Yella Terra, Australia’s leading brand of high performance racing parts. To this day, Perfectune Engineering and Yella Terra are leaders of innovation and development in the motorsport and high performance industries.

Today

Today Perfectune Engineering is headed up by Managing Director Jim Petrakis & is a Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Company that is able to serve diverse industries and is recognised nationwide for its technical excellence and the development of innovative products. Perfectune Engineering has seen expansion in the industries it serves through its capabilities and in the people that help make the company function on a day-to-day basis. The Engineers, Technicians, 1st Class Machinists, Programmers and CAD designers manage the company’s vast capabilities, which range from design/prototype work to medium and mass production runs.
